93,7K, It’s a speculative project developed in the current historical context, raising a new gestural linguistic system identified by the hands we can find in the music videos in TikTok. It makes us reflect on the etymology of our contemporary language, questioning the traditional communicative engine. It proposes a scenario where the digital platforms configure our body generating an alternative communicative paradigm, observing how our identity is configured through language. 
Through an anthropomorphic analysis, a gestural language established by generation Z is identified, which is determined and given value; questioning the influence of language in the society of tomorrow.

If a language is identified by the number of speakers, the viral signs create a new paradigm. One simple gesture in TikTok is repeated and imitated millions of times. For all these reasons, I consider this as an innocent universal language that makes us think about vulnerable acts in social media and about the social impact that it can cause. 
From this point of view, I started my analysis, which has been the most important during the project. The final piece is an expression of the results from the analysis.
I started watching the application with a more direct point of view establishing this methodology. Then, I focused the analysis in designed sheets to recollect dates that project impact. These sheets aim to detect patrons of movement and signs, highlighting the parameters to reflect in the final piece, helping to design de graphic system to express this language. I realize 25 sheets, this selection has been made from the algorithm and picking up those that have more gestures.

The data gathering during the analysis concluded in a selection of the first 14 words of this language. From these words a song has been composed, "Emoji de melocotón", the first demo, which complements the graphic system designed to represent the movement that makes up this language. This is the paragraph of the song that contains the selected words:

All this data gathered in the song is related to the other results (mapping of the body movement and the purpose of the message), which generates a graphic system that expresses this language in a stone, referring to the Rosetta Stone. The goal was to materialize and give value, pointing the beginning of a new language out. TikTok is decontextualized, and the language is translated on the most primary material known, looking for the thought of the full meaning of the song.
Inspired in the rosetta stone, the design has a horizontal composition with different translations of the text. The design emerges from the combination of current graphic systems, because if have had generated a new one from the beginning the level of knowledge will have been very specific to understand it. This concept makes it easier that the content is less limiting to the receptor and makes it more viral, as TikTok does. 
As a graphic designer, the process of the piece was quite shocking, it made me think about the boundaries of this area. This process has been summarized in a trendy TikTok.

Once I assumed the huge influence of the social media and how they overcome the screens to configure our daily life, I came to Tiktok and I realize the monster I am investigating. I was surprised about how in these gestures the current social paradigm is reflected, and all the words selected have to do with a sexual and violent meaning. Also, discussions about the body and how we sexualize it with normality have been made. 
A lot underdressed poses, looks, dance... could be socially considered as pornographic attitudes if we see them in another context. This app is mostly used by people that are between 12 and 15 years old and through this language we will be able to change the scenario tendered before. 
What we don’t have to do is to negate TikTok. I think that the spotlight has to be in the use that we give to the tool and not to the tool itself. We have to regularize the aspects that can come against, and though this language we can change this scenario proposed. If we propose the expansion of this language, we are in front of an international and worldwide language, and it has a huge influence on our society.
